EYECON 2026: From Procurement to Precision – Event Highlights

What an incredible success! On Saturday, August 8th, 2026, medical students and aspiring surgeons gathered at Hospital Sungai Buloh for EYECON 2026, an interactive surgical workshop co-organized by the Malaysian Students’ Surgical Society (MSSS) and Hospital Sungai Buloh.

Participants stepped out of the lecture halls and straight into the world of microsurgery, gaining rare hands-on exposure to everything from eye banking and corneal procurement to high-precision surgical techniques.
